Anton is available to provide business analysis on research that is generated at the University of Waikato. He has the skills to help transform scientific discoveries into outcomes that will create impact. He can assess the market potential of an idea and determine if or how it could develop into an outcome that will benefit the researcher, the University and society.
Anton studied at the University of Auckland, completing a Masters of Bioscience Enterprise which focused on the commercialisation of biological research. His industry-led Masters thesis was completed at Plant and Food Research, where he investigated intellectual property management within an open innovation context. Anton also completed a professional Masters of Digital Business from the University of Waikato, with a focus on business model innovation. He completed an internship with VicLink (the University of Victoria’s Tech Transfer Office) and undertook an applied research project with KiwiNet, where he investigated a new Grant Management System. His recommendation for the new system was approved by the KiwiNet Board and he assisted with its implementation.
Anton is always keen to learn more about University-based research projects, so feel free to pick up the phone, email, or pop by the WaikatoLink office for a chat.
