Summer Research Scholarships are now open for 2019/2020
The University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarships are intended to support and enhance research at the University of Waikato. The programme provides promising undergraduate, final-year honours and first-year master’s degree students enrolled in taught papers (particularly those considering further study at the University of Waikato), with the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of research.
Scholarships are offered in various disciplines and support a ten-week period of full-time research from November to February.
Below are the lists of available projects for the 2019/20 programme. They have been listed by Division/School and also show a list of projects available through external organisations. Applications close on 15 September 2019 and student's may apply for up to three projects, in preference order.
Please note: If you are not a current University of Waikato student you will be required to submit an Application to Enrol at the University of Waikato. This application is not a commitment to study here at the University of Waikato and can be withdrawn or updated at any time. You can then follow the steps to create your MyWaikato account and have access to apply for scholarships.
