Edit account settings

For staff on how to edit University of Waikato Zoom account settings.

Edit settings from the Zoom app

  1. Open the Zoom app and select SSO.
  2. If prompted, enter the domain name waikato, then enter your usual Waikato log in details.
  3. In the Zoom window, select the Settings cog at the top right of the page.
  4. The Settings menu is on the left of the Settings Panel.

Edit settings from a browser

  1. Select the bottom star on the left-hand side of the screen on the staff home page (Te Hononga), then the Zoom icon.
  2. Select the Zoom icon.
  3. Select Settings on the left of the screen.Note: Some settings can only be changed before beginning a Zoom session, not when the meeting is in progress. Your meeting will still run with the default settings. You can change your preferences after the meeting and they will apply to future meetings.
