We provide a General Practice service for students currently enrolled with the University.

Update - Student Health Services’ temporary move
The Student Health Service building is currently being renovated, and will be completed sometime in February 2020. As a result, we have moved some of our services until renovations are complete. Below is some information you need to know about the move.
Students need to call 07 838 4037 for all appointments and student support
Services temporarily available in Orchard Park
- The main reception, the waiting area, nurse practitioner and GP and nursing services are temporarily located in Orchard Park, Chalet 37.
- Counselling, the Mental Health Nurse, the Violence Prevention Coordinator, and the Health Promotion Coordinator are temporarily located in Orchard Park, Chalet 34.

- Please come to main reception, Chalet 37, to check in for all appointments.
Note: A nurse will be based in room G.16 in the Chapel for enrolling new patients, and can help with some health advice and screening. They will also help direct people to the services best suited to meet their needs.
Enrolment with the Student Health Service
Domestic students can enroll with Student Health Clinic. Enrolling with the clinic entitles students to $10 consultations and free repeat prescriptions.
Current domestic students not enrolled with the Student Health Clinic pay $30 per consultation or $18.50 if they have a Community Services Card.
International student fees are $45 per consultation and are covered by their compulsory health insurance, subject to the conditions of that policy (see the International Students page).
Extra charges apply to all students for specific medical examinations (insurance, pre-employment, driving etc), travel vaccines, minor surgery, IUD and Jadelle fittings.
Non-attendance Fee: $10
Student Medical Emergencies on Campus
If you experience a medical emergency, dial 111 and notify security on extension 4444 (07 838 4444).
Manage My Health
If you are enrolled with Student Health Clinic please consider registering with the online patient portal, Manage My Health.
This enables you to make appointments, request repeat prescriptions and seek health advice by email from your GP or Nurse Practitioner.
No appointment is necessary to see our team of friendly and very experienced nurses. Simply drop-in to see them. They are able to manage many everyday health concerns, for example sore throats, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections. Just ask to speak to the nurse. There are also always urgent on the day doctor appointments which the nurses can access if needed.
