Drop-in Sessions
For students who need a 10 minute drop-in appointment before booking in for a full hour consult with our Pacific Success Coordinator.

Pacific Mentor & Mentee Study Session
A dedicated space for our Pacific Peer Mentors to meet with their mentees and go over any general or course content specific queries. Sign up to be a mentor or be assigned a mentor then email to confirm your interest.

When: Every Monday & Thursday
Time: 1pm – 5pm

Pacific Post Graduate Events

Friday Fono with Dr Aporosa
Friday Fono explores Pasifika-focused talanoa, aimed at assisting students from all disciplines with assignments and research matters. Friday Fono is held around the kumete (kava bowl) but there is NO obligation to drink kava.

Dates: September 1, 8, & 29, and October 20 & 27

Pacific Post Graduate Talanoa Series
This is a collaborative platform for Pacific Post Graduate Students and Researches across all Institutions in New Zealand and the South Pacific, government research agencies and NGOs to present their research, share ideas and debate Pacific research issues. Responsibility for sessions is shared by participating universities with presentations covering a range of disciplines.

Dates:  Every first and third Monday of the month (occasionally the fifth Monday)
Venue: S.1.10 (Video Conference Room, First Floor, S Block)
Time: 3pm – 5pm
