Screen and Media Studies Thesis

This paper provides students with an opportunity to engage with a topic of their choice from the field of Screen and Media Studies under the guidance and supervision of a lecturer from the programme. The outcome is a report of approx 40,000 - 50,000 words or equivalent on the findings of a theoretical, empirical or practice-led investigation in the field of Media Studies.

If you are doing a Master in Media and Creative Technology (MMCT), this paper summarises your research throughout the MMCT. You will produce either a robust traditional 40,000-50,000 dissertation, or 30,000-35,000 dissertation that includes a creative practice project and exegesis.
