This paper aims to develop strategies and techniques for sustainable design and construction. It covers common and novel construction materials in New Zealand. It also teaches about building energy efficiency codes, building energy and structural modeling, and practical aspects of life cycle analysis (LCA), retrofitting of existing buildings, and green buildings.
