This paper critically examines the social, cultural, and political dimensions of sport and exercise, with particular attention to inclusion, equity, and social justice. Students engage with key social theories and explore contemporary issues in movement cultures, including disability sport, inclusive practice, access, participation, and social inequity. The paper develops students’ ability to critically analyse research and practice, and to apply socially responsive and inclusive approaches in professional and community contexts.
