If you want to help shape and make a positive impact in the world we live in, a Diploma in Environmental Planning from Waikato is the perfect starting point for you.
During this one-year programme you will learn about the interdisciplinary nature of environmental issues. Taught by leading industry experts who are at the forefront of the latest research and innovation, you'll take papers in the social and natural sciences and make direct connections between human behaviour, politics and the natural environment.
Learning isn't all in the classroom, either. You'll have the opportunity to attend field trips to explore first-hand the impact humans have on the local environment and you'll engage in practical group research projects and workshops.
