Healthy Active Living
Why study Healthy Active Living?
The major focuses on key relational and communication skills that are foundational to working with individuals and their whānau, supporting them holistically to improve their well-being. It pairs these skills with knowledge and skills for exercise physiology, prescription, and nutrition.
Healthy Active Living is available as a first major for the Bachelor of Sport and Human Performance (BSHP). It may also be included as a second major or minor in other undergraduate degrees, subject to approval of the Division in which the student is enrolled.
