For domestic students who reside in the Waikato DHB region and are from populations, communities and/or regions typically under-represented in health who might not otherwise be able to access education. Applicants must be in their second year of full-time study towards a Bachelor of Health and have achieved at least a B+ average in their first year of study at the University of Waikato.

For students who are enrolled or intending to enrol in a PhD in Health, Sport & Human Performance at UoW. Candidates need to be able to demonstrate how their intended research will expand current understandings of female health in NZ and internationally, and ultimately contribute to improved practice for sports organisations.
