Dr. William Wang is a leading academic in Health Decision Science, Business Analytics, and Enterprise Information Systems. With a background as an IT engineer and corporate consultant, he bridges the gap between technical infrastructure and strategic digital transformation. His expertise encompasses systems integration, health information analytics, and the adoption of enterprise systems (SAP and MS Dynamics) for both large firms and SMEs, as well as health institutes. As a dedicated mentor, Dr. Wang has supervised 15 PhD candidates to successful completion. His graduates hold influential positions in academia, health organisations, and the public sector globally. His current research explores the intersection of machine learning and human systems, including trauma-informed workflow design and multimodal sentiment analysis in healthcare. Dr. Wang’s work is published in premier outlets such as the Information Systems Journal, Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, and Industrial Management & Data Systems.
