Geographers
- usually work regular business hours but may work long and irregular hours

How can you become a Geographer?
You need a qualification to become a geographer and experience may be useful.
You need
- a bachelor's degree in human geography, geology, geophysics and geochemistry or similar area
You may need
- a postgraduate certificate or diploma in earth sciences or similar area
- a master's degree in human geography, earth sciences, geology, geophysics and geochemistry or similar area
- a doctoral degree in geology, geophysics and geochemistry, earth sciences or similar area
- experience in similar work
