You need a qualification to become a historian and experience may be useful.
You need
- a bachelor's degree in history, Māori customs tikanga or similar area
You may need
- a postgraduate certificate, diploma or honours degree in history
- a master's degree in history, Māori customs tikanga or similar area
- experience in similar work

You need University Entrance to do the study or training for this job.
