This paper develops advanced research skills in health, sport, and human performance. Students learn to critically evaluate and synthesise literature, examine research design, methodology, ethics, and consider how cultural worldviews, including Kaupapa Māori and Pacific research methodologies, shape research design and ethical practice in applied contexts. Students may specialise in either a qualitative or quantitative research stream and will design and justify a research project relevant to sport, health, or human performance.
