Interested in Education? Spend a year learning about education and finish with a qualification, or count all your hard work towards a Bachelor of Social Sciences.

The Cert(Ed) is not a teaching qualification. If you want to qualify as a teacher, see the Bachelor of Teaching or, if you already have a bachelors degree in another area, apply for the one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching or Master of Teaching and Learning.

Regulations

You need to complete 120 points (usually eight papers), and at least 90 of those points need to be within the field of Education - see Papers below.

Papers

In most cases, any undergraduate Education papers (100, 200, or 300-level) can be counted towards the Cert(Ed).
