You need
- a bachelor's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering and technology, computer science, manufacturing, engineering and technology or similar area
- experience in a similar area related to the type of mechatronics engineering

- an Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) licence
- to join a professional organisation
