In this paper students will critically engage with a range of contemporary health issues, policies and health promotion practices using a case study approach. Students develop a critical understanding of how different perspectives shape what goes on in the name of health education and promotion; the impacts on various individuals, communities and societies; and what this might mean for their own professional practice in future.
