How can you become a Transport engineer?
You need a qualification and experience to become a transport engineer.
You need
- a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- experience in similar work
You may need
- a Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Highways) or similar
- a master's degree in civil engineering or similar area
- a driver licence
- to be registered as a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineering New Zealand
If you're in school
You need NCEA Level 3 or University Entrance to do the study or training for this job.
