  • to complete a training course in technical writing through the Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand
  • a Master of Professional Writing
  • a portfolio of work
  • to register with the Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand

You usually need NCEA Level 3 to do the study or training for this job.
